1) Bilirubin specimen was wrapped in foil. it is wrapped by foil to protect it from the light.  when exposed to light for one hour it will undergo up to a 50% reduction in concentration.

3) coagulation specimen (PT ) was in the light blue top tube. The light blue top tube contains sodium citrate which is a anti-coagulant it prevents coagulation by binding calcium. anti-coagulant preserves the labile coagulation factors.
