plz explain this how these equations of fluid weight and all other came I am not understanding this at all

HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE |GENERAL EQUATIONS OF FLUID STATICS lHYDROSTATIC LAW) Consider an element of fluid at rest having dimension Ex.3y and ; as shown in the Fig. 3.2. Let p be the pressure intensity at face ABCD and p + &z; l be the pressure intensity on face EFGH as-.. az n in Fig. 3.2. Forces acting on the fluid element are: (i) Weight of fluid, W# (ii) Pressure free on bottom face ABCD 6x y (iii) Pressure force on top face EFGH = | p + & (iv) Pressure forces on other faces of the element For equilibrium of fluid element, we have FIG. 3.2 Forces on a fluid element are equal and opposite and hence cancel out. -dz&z6x.by-w826xSy;=0 or

Explanation / Answer

According to the given problem,

i) Its the weight of the fluid,

W = Density *volume

W = w*[x*y*z] where x*y*z = Volume

ii)Pressure force on the bottom face is,

Fp = Pressure*Area

Fp = p[given]*x*y[Areaof face ABCD]

iii)Pressure force on the top face is,

Fp = Pressure*Area

Fp = (p+p/z(z))[Given]* x*y[Areaof face EFGH]

iv) And the side parts cancle out,

v) Force in equilibrium,

Fy = 0 nad Fx = 0

I hope you understant, If not feel free to comment.
