Question

The Answers to the top half are not

I1 = 41/10 = 4.1 A

I2 = 4 - 4 x 4.41 = -12.81 A

I3 = -12.81 + 4.1 = -8.71A

A previous chegg 2ter answered this and when I put it in it was incorrect

Explanation / Answer

By applying Kirchoff current law at right node,

i1+i2-i3=0

Applying kirchoff voltage law in top loop,

15 +4*i2 + 10 - 6*i1 = 0

Applying KVL in bottom loop,

10 - 6*i1 - 2*i3=0

Solving these three equations

i1 =2.0455 A

i2 = - 3.1818 A

i3 = - 1.1364 A
