Question

Two grams of 100 degree C steam are injected into a wellsealed styrofoam container that holds a mixture of 24 grams of iceand 50 grams of liquid water, both at 0 degree C. a) How much of the ice melts and what is the equilibriumtemperature of the mixture including the condensed steam? b) Repeat for a second experiment where, everything else isthe same but 5 grams of steam are injected (also at 100 degreeC). Assume (in both experiments) that no energy is absorbedby the styrofoam.
