For mutant purple flies: (1*0 + 2*0 + 3*0 + 4*0 + 5*0 + 6*0 + 7*0 + 8*4 + 9*5 + 10*7 + 11*9 + 12*10 + 13*10)/45 = 496/45 = 11.022 minutes
3) If one of the homogenates was not making alchol dehydrogenase then we expect to detect it in an assay of total protein. Because unless the alochol dehydrogenase is not produced, the total protein content of homogenates should remain similar. However if one of the homogenate is not making alcohol dehydrogenase, then the total protein content of that particular homogenate will be low and can be detected in an assay of total protein.
