Question
The specific heat of a substance varies with temperature according to the formula c(T) = A+BT +CT^2. Find the energy required to raise the temperature of a mass m of this substance from T1 to T2. State your answer in terms of the given variablesCAUTION !!!! >>> I tried some answers several times and below is one of the answers that I tried !!!! but it was wrong... (I tried samething with integral, but it was wrong also)
Please do not show me this answer Please !!! Please HELP ME OUT !!!
(The equation has to start with Q =)
I have tried this one.. Do not write this answer.(same thing with integral)
Explanation / Answer
You actually know how to do the integral. The integral before putting bounds is Q(t) = m[A*t + B*t^2/2 + C*t^3/3] then plug bounds, the result should be Q(T2) - Q(T1) = m[A*T2 + B*T2^2/2 + C*T2^3/3] - m[A*T1 + B*T1^2/2 + C*T1^3/3] = m[A*(T2 - T1) + B*(T2^2 - T1^2)/2 + C*(T2^3 - T1^3)/3]
