The City of Pullman has asked you to come up with a design idea for this .4 acre plot of land on Grand Ave. The site is in a commercial zone, near downtown, the university, and adjacent to various residential areas. With your partner, do the following. Decide what the site will be. Consider all you've learned about the work of landscape architecture thus far and draw from your own experience as a citizen of the built environment. The site could be an outdoor classroom or a food cart hub or a labyrinth or a skatepark or a wildflower garden, or or or. You decide. To make your idea reality, speculate about what you would have to learn about the site and its surroundings (soil, slope, weather, traffic, demographics, waterbodies, history, roadways, etc. etc.). Given what you think you will need to learn, identify the types of collaborators you will need (architects, interior designers, construction managers, engineers, botanists, artists, developers, marketers, etc. etc). This site is on the road ways. There is a university and various companies nearby of this site. The site have an area of 4 acres. We are asking for what purpose, this site developed. So think about development for various purposes. One of the purpose may be development of the site is construction of hostel facilities that may required by the university students, other purpose may be development of site is for construction of shopping mall which is the place where the student, colony member may visit, purchase there needs items, enjoying the mall. This may benefited for both the student and family.
Now the members I think required in this projects areEnvironmentalist, civil engineer, Economist, planner, government bodies, local community, non governmental organization, architecture.
