Question
Can anyone help me design a function generator circuit that has an output of 300mili Volts peak to peak ang 1Kilo Hertz? I've researched but it has not worked. When we simulate it through multism, it gave the values but when we construct it in PCB, it just gives a distorted signal. Anyway, the waveform required are square wave, triangular and sine wave having 1KHz frequency and 300mVpk to pk magnitude thank you for your answer Can anyone help me design a function generator circuit that has an output of 300mili Volts peak to peak ang 1Kilo Hertz? See whatever you have simulated might be right, but when you consider it on constructing on the PCB, the delays of the gates and the other factors like delay time, rise time, the turn-on and turn-off times come into play. So due to these values, you would get a slightly distortrd wave which will generally not match with the simulation results. Another reason for having a lotof distortion could be the presence of noise.Try reducing the noise by placing larger resistances in series with the source.
