The business environment is changing very fast. Old business models are getting outdated at a rapid pace. Competition from developing countries, movement of manufacturing to asian countries, increased automation - all ic changing the business environment very fast. Traditional hierarchical systems are replacing flat organizations. IT skills applicable five years before are becoming obsolete. Organziations are becoming trans national and there is more cross cultural exchange than ever before. Continous learning, testing new business models etc have become the order of the day. In these scenarios, it is the agile organization which continously adapts itself to its external and internal environment will only survive. Hence, Agile organizations are the order of the day. A traditional business management style of past is ill suited to current realities.
