Question
You throw a ball upward with an initial speed of 4.51 m/s. When it returns to your hand 0.92 s later it has the same speed in the downwarddirection (assuming air resistance can be ignored). What was theupward component of the average acceleration vector of theball??m/s2 Please give as much detail as possible thankyou! You throw a ball upward with an initial speed of 4.51 m/s. Explanation / Answer
for what i understand, they want you to use 4.51 as vi and -4.51 asvf, then find the avg acc, if so then avg acc= (-4.51-4.51)/.92= -9.8m/s2 (which is the accdue to gravity more or less)
