(a)       We know that torque     = Force x perpendicular distance                                              = m g r                                              = 45 * 9.8 * 0.9                                              = 396.9 N - m (b)         1 =   m1 g r1         2 =   m2 g  r2      Given 1 +2   = 800 N   =  g ( m r1 + m2 r2)                        ( m1 r1 + m2 r2) = 800 /9.8                                                         = 81.632                                    m2 r2   =   81.632   -   m1r1                                                =   81.632   -   (45 *0.9)                                                = 41.133                        hence mass of second Eagle is :                                 m2   =   41.133 / 1.1                                         = 37.39 kg Hope this helps u!
