During 2nd year the percentage of HSV infected smokers [total number of smokers is 1000]
= (40/1000) x 100 = 4%
During 2nd year the percentage of HSV infected E-cigarette users [total number of E-cigarette users is 2000]
= (105/2000) x 100 = 5.25% for 1000 people it should be divided by 2 i.e. 5.25/2 =2.625%
