h = L sin37 = 13.2 m

perpendicular to the incline,

N = m g cos37

and f = uk N = 0.120 x 42 x 9.81 x cos37 = 39.5 N


Change in KE = Net work

=work done by gravity + work done by friction


= (84 x 9.81 x 22) - (42 x 9.81 x 13.2) - (39.5 x 22)

= 11800 N
