Taking -ve j as downward direction
Electrical force on electron in upward direction = e E = 1.6x10-19 * 2.6x10-10 = 4.16x10-29 N  
Gravitational force on electron in down ward direction = mg = 9.1x10-31*9.8 = 8.92x10-30 N

Net force in upward direction = 3.27x10-29 N
Acceleration = net force /m = 35.9 m/sec2
speed after travelling distance s, starting from rest at constant acceleration = ( 2 a s)1/2
