as the object is moving in the direction of F1

work done is positive

W1 = F1 * (x2 - x1)

W1 = 90 * (0.04 - (-0.06))

W1 = 9 J

the work done in moving the block is 9 J

part b)

Now, for F2

as the object is moving in oposite of the direction of F2

work done is negative

W1 = F2 * (x2 - x1)

W1 = 25 * (0.04 - (-0.06))

W1 = 2.5 J

the work done in moving the block is 2.5 J
