Question
Q#1 ) The volume of a confined gas is doubled while the temperature remains constant, what change (if any) would be observed in the pressure? A. It would be half as large. B. It would double. C. It would be four times as large. D. It would remain the same. (2 points) (i) Which of the following pairs is related by an inverse relationship? A. Pressure and temperature B. Temperature and volume C. Volume and pressure D. Moles and volume. (2 points) Q#2 Using the graph below fill out the following table. Note: Writ the value and the unit of eac temperature. Problem 1)
i) using ideal gas equation:
(P1 V1/ T1) = (P2 V2/ T2)
as temperature is constant and V2 = 2V1
P2 = 0.5 P1
ii) Using same law we can see that Pressure and Volume are inversely proportional to each other.
