Question

Hello everyone,

I got a question about question 21, or more specifically , theprovided answer on this site. In several steps I see (C) postedbehind an answer and I see this everytime when a minus sign'disappears' from an equation. I can't figure out why this is. Forinstance, in step 3 we have Fab=P*cosec(2) butthen the minus sign goes away. The same goes for step 5, in step 4we have found a Fbc without any minus sign, but then in step 5 withall the replacing the Fbc does get a minus sign,otherwise one couldn't get P(1+cot2).

So, any help with this would be appreciated.
Cheers
Mallemout

Explanation / Answer

Fab=Pcosec2(C) means Fab = -Pcosec2
