the purpose or the goal of the project is to use an arduino board to use a motor and spin it back and forth in both directions

now the reason why i'm posting this question is i'm having difficulty finding a comprehensive tutorial that can help me in this regard. the most comprehensive i was shown was a youtube tutorial that used this diagram in this link
