Ans. d) Glycogen: Glycogen stores energy in humans and numerous other species. This stored energy can be utilised for the biogenesis of glucose. Hence it is a perfect example of any energy storage device like rechargeable batteries where a battery can be recharged and the energy can be stored. This stored energy can be utilised for numerous other purpose.
