a. Net charg eon the shell = q
hence from gauss law
E*2*pi*d*l = q/epsilon
q = E*(4*pi*epsilon)*dl/2 = 36*10^3 0.237*2.3/2*8.98*10^9 = 1.09262*10^-6 C
