resistance = V/I

resistance = 9.21/0.101 = 91.19 ohm

internal resistance of battery = 91.19 - 67 = 24.19 ohm

2)

a)

equivalent resistance = 8.1 + 8.1 + 8.1 = 24.3 ohm

b)

current in each resistance = V/R = 23/24.3 = 0.946 amp

c)

now if resisters are in parallel so

equivalent resistance = 1/(1/8.1 + 1/8.1 + 1/8.1) = 2.7 ohm

current through battery = 23/2.7 = 8.52 amp

current through each resistance = 8.52/3 = 2.84 amp

3)

equivalent resistance = 4 + 7*20/(7+20) + 9 = 18.18 ohm

current through battery = 50/18.18 = 2.75 amp

current through 4 ohm and 9 ohm = 2.75 amp

current through 7 ohm = 20*2.75/(7+20) = 2.03 amp

current through 20 ohm = 0.72 amp
