an RL circuit has a switch as shown below. First switch a is closed and the circuit is allowed to reach equilibruim, then switch b is closed and the circuit is again allowed to reach equilbrium. Once switch b is closed, the current in the RL cirucit drops from 1.0A to 10ma in the first second following removal of the emf from the cirucit. Assume L is 10 H and answer the questions :


1 What is the resistance R in the cirucit ?

2- What is the voltage accross the inductor, a long time after the switch a has been closed.


3- indicate the direction of seld induced current.
