Cellular Respiration is the process where it produces the ATP from the glucose molecules and releases the CO2 during the process and use the O2 in ETC. Cellular respiration has the following process to generate ATP are 1. Glycolysis 2. TCA cycle and 3. Electron Transport chain. The 1 Glucose molecule produce 36 or 38 ATP molecule. The organelles involved in cellular respiration is Mitochondria. This is important for all the cell to generate their own energy from the mitochondria.
Photosynthesis are the process where the glucose molecules and O2 are produced from the CO2 and H20 by using NADPH and ATP. This is occurs in Chloroplast of the cell. The process starts in Photosystem II where light source incident on H20 molecules it release O2 and e-. Then e- moves to Photosystem I and generate NADPH. This NADPH are used to generate glucose. For synthesis one glucose molecule it require 18 ATP and 12 NADPH molecule.
Both the above process are linked together by the CO2 and O2. The cellular respiration uses O2 that are released from the Photosynthesis and CO2 released from the respiration is used by photosynthesis. In evolution point of view it is the main cycle happen between animal and plants.
