b. All life forms are based on similar fundamental organization i.e. genetic information in the form of DNA, transcribed to RNA and translated to proteins.

c. Evolution results in a vast number of different adaptations for survival and reproduction. L ife exists in many different forms in soil and on the surface of land, in water and in air.

d. Before life was classified into two kingdoms: Plant kingdom and Animal kingdom.

Later R.H. Whittaker classified into five kingdoms: Monera, Protista, Plantae, Fungi, Animalia.

e. Thinking in scientific way is the best vehicle for obtaining knowledge. The skills - observe, compare, sort and organize, predict, experiment, evaluate and apply are the seven essential steps of scientific thinking.
