If the rotor is spinning with an angular speed of 5.3 x 10 5 rad/s and the driving force is turned off it's spinning rate slows down to an angular rate of 0.42 rad/s 2. How long does the rotor spin before coming to rest? During this time through how many revolutions does the rotor spin?

0 = 5.3 x 10^5 + -.42t

t= 1261904.76 sec

f^2 = i^2 + 2ad

0= (5.3 x 10^5)^2 + 2(-.42)d

d= 3.344 x 10^11 radians

3.344 x 10^11 radians x (1rev/2rad) = 5.322 x 10^10 Revs
