   Direction of current in the solenoid: Clockwise as seen from the loop.    i.e. loop faces south pole of a magnet when current is switched on.    According to Len'z Law, induced current will be such that it opposes the change in flux.    a. Just as the switch is closed, current starts increasing and hence the flux through loop This change in flux causes a current to flow is loop.    b.   Long after switch is closed, current becomes constant and so does magnetic flux through loop. Hence no current will flow in the loop.    c. Just as the switch is opened, current starts decreasing and hence the flux through loop This change in flux causes a current to flow is loop. Dierction is, however opposite that of part (a).    b.   Long after switch is opened, current becomes zero and so does magnetic flux through loop. Hence no current will flow in the loop.    c. Just as the switch is opened, current starts decreasing and hence the flux through loop This change in flux causes a current to flow is loop.
