It will behave as a negative point charge
point charge because we are talking about very large distance . if we go to very large distance from these collection of charges we can then calculate the net force on a small test charge , which will be nothing but vector sum of forces applied by all the charges. and since the distance is very large , we can neglect the distance between these charges and consider as if the set of charges were a point charge.
the assumed point charge will be negative because we can see the intensity of electric field lines which is higher in case of negative charges. we can just calculate the no. of field lines of both postive and negative charges and check which one greater , the greater one will have the overall effect .
