Given ,

B = 0.042 - 8.70t

dB / dt = -8.70

E = - N dB/dt . A WHERE A = 1/2*L2

E = -1 * (-8.70) . 0.72

E = 6.264

we are given net emf as 33.364 volts, so emf of the battery is 33.364 - 6.264 = 27.1 volts

current in circuit = I = V / R = 27.1 / 0.64 = 42.34 amps

Potential drop = V = Ir = 42.34*0.74 = 31.33
