Explanation / Answer

1. Mesenchyme tissue is precursor to adult connective tissue.I t contains loosely organized cells. the loose nature of cells allow the tissue to be moved and moulded. During embryogenesis it will form connective tissue.

3. The matrix of elastic cartilage contains yellow elastic fibres that provide flexibilty to cartilage. The yellow elastic fibres are present in bundles inside matrix and inside those bundles there are many small cavities . inside those cavities cells of this tissue ( chondrocytes) are present.

4. Three major groups of connective tissue are:

(a) loose connective tissue - example is aerolar tissue and adipose tissue

(b) dense connective tissue - example is bones, cartilage

(c) specialized connective tissue- example is blood
