1) The function of actin like proteins in prokaryotes are- control site of cell wall synthesis and direct the chromosome segragation to cell poles. the FTsZ cytoskeletal element that is similar to the actin myosin contractile ring in eukaryotes,is required for cell division i.e directing the chromosmes seggration to cell poles.The MreB is also an actin like protein that determines the shape of cells and mediates the position and activity of enzymes that synthesize Peptidoglycan i.e an essential part of cell wall of bacteria.

2) enzymes are catalyst because- they reduce the activation energy for a specific reaction, they are unchanged by a chemical reaction and also alter the free energy of formation of a reaction.
