B.     SPEC ratio = CPU time of reference machine / CPU time of measured machine

= 9650/750 = 12.87

C.      CPI = 0.943

No. of instructions = 10/100 * 2.389 e12 + 2.389 e12 = 2.6279 e12

New CPU time = Instruction count X CPI X clock cycle time = 2.6279 e12 X 0.943 X 0.333 X 10e -9 = 825.2 S

Therefore increase in CPU time = 825.21- 750 = 75.21 s

D.     No. of instructions = 2.6279 e12

CPI = 5/100 * 0.943 + 0.943 = 0.99

New CPU time = Instruction count X CPI X clock cycle time = 2.6279 e12 X0.99 X 0.333 X 10e-9 = 866.34s
