Question

Verilog code for morse code which just display (A,b,C,d,E,F,g,H) 7hex on DE-2?

There is just one input button in the design , when press the button less than 2 second(considered as short signal) it return 0 and when press the button more than 2 second(considered as long signal) it return 1.

The User needs to click three times on the input button then get one out

For example,

1.click button 3 times which are less than 2 second. (0 0 0) it shows "A" on the DE-2 board.

2. click button 3 times which have one long singal and two short signals. (0 0 1) it shows "b" on the DE-2 borad

3. click button 3 times which have two long singal and one short signals. (0 1 1) it shows "C" on the DE-2 borad

Explanation / Answer

a parallel circuit is a closed circuit in which the current divides into two or more paths before recombining to complete the circuit. Each load connected in a seperate path receives the full circuit voltage. The total circuit current is equal to the individual branch current. For inductors and resistors ohms law applies where the total resistance is equal to the sum of the recip[rocals of their individual resistances.

In this circuit if we press one button then 3 times which is less than 2 seconds then it shows A on the board.

press button 3 times for more than 2 seconds it will display the next alphabet which is alternate to it.

In some cases while pressing the button there may be chances of formation of long and short signals on the C board which may have 2long or short signals. But mostly two long signals and one short signal will be dispalyed on the C DE-2 board.
