Question
1) Why are sine waves important in electronics?
2) Generally, why are capacitors used in filters more than inductors?
3) What two structures are used in a state machine implementation in LabVIEW? How are they configured?
4) What are the issues that can arise when the output impedance of the function generator is not correctly set?
5) How do you read the amplitude (Frequency) of a signal from the waveform on an oscilloscope?
6) How do you calculate phase shift by measuring the time delay between zero crossings of two different signals?
Explanation / Answer
A- Sine waves are most important in electronics as the power ol, voltage or current used in the electronic circuits all are in the sine wave form. This wave provide the basic idea about phase angle, phase shift, magnitude and many more information via graph or wave. So it is very important. Sine waves are periodic and hence they repeat themselves every 360 degree. Due to the sine properties any equation of the circuit can be easily solved . Hence it is of very much importance.
B- Capacitors are used in filter more than inductors as they block the AC signal and pass only the DC. Hence the impurities with the help of capacitors are filtered more accurately than inductors.
