Question
Just need some info on what is the best way to analyze and setup for calculation
Construct the network of Fig. 4.10. Note that a lead must be placed across the 330-Ohm resistor. Insert the measured value of each resistor in the space provided. R_1 measured = _________ R_2 measured = _________ R_3 measured = _________ (b) Calculate the total resistance using the measured resistor values and insert in Table 4.7. Calculation: (c) Measure the total resistance of the network of Fig. 4.10 using the DMM and record in Table 4.7. (d) Calculate the magnitude of the percent difference between the measured value of part 7(c) and the calculated value of part 1(b) and record in Table 4.7.Explanation / Answer
You just use the multimeter to calculate the resistances required, which the problem needs by placing the two leads of the multimeter on the either sides of resistor, thus we get the reading on the multimeter meter that reading is the measured reading R1,R2,R3 measured and then you have to calculate by hand to get the equivalent resistance of circuit from the values of noted measured resistances and compare with the multimeter reading of equivalent resistance placed across circuit.
