Write down all the necessary steps you followed to arrive at your results. The origin of the unit cell in Figure 2b is indicated by the letter "O". (a) the intercepts are 1/2 3/4 1. reciprocals are 2 4/3 1. trying to make them integers by multiplying with 3 => 6 4 3 therefore crystallographic plane is (6 4 3) (b) co ordinates of head = 1 1 0. co ordinates of tail = 0 0 0. the directions are (1-0) (1-0) (0-0) therefore crystallographic direction is [1 1 0]
