Question

a person pulls a 10kg weight across a floor a distance x=2.0m by pulling on a rope with 50N directed 15 degrees above the horizontal. The coefficient of kinetic friction between the crate and the floor is uk=.20. Identify all the forces in the problem and compute the work done by each one.
One answer I got was
forces are ffriction force,normal force,gravitational force,tension
work done by friction force= -uk*mg*x
work by gravity= -mg*xsin10
work by normal force= 0
work by tension = F*x= 50*2
my question is why is it sin 10 instead of sin 15?

Explanation / Answer

it sholud be sin15 and not sin 10.

sin15 = 0.2588

sin10 = 0.17365
