220 ELECTRICAL MOTOR CONTROLS for Integrated Systems WORKBOOK mperature Control. Include a plugging switch that automatically turns off the heating elemen contactor if the circulating fan is not operating. Provide overload protection for 6. Design a circuit in which a temperature switch turns on and off a heating element and circulating fan based on a given temperature. Use standard lettering, numbering, and coding information. L2 ALL OLS CIRCULATING MOTOR HEATING CONTACTORExplanation / Answer
#Option B is correct.
As asked in question , the on/off temperature switch is used. Motor gets supply through this switch and then circuit completes due to N.C overload switch. Plugging switch connects the heating contactor.
Also N.O of heating contactor are used in heating element circuit which become N.C and get supply when heating contactor turns on due to temperature switch.
#
In option A the N.C of heating contactor is used in heating element circuit. When contactor turn on, N.C become N.O and supply to heating element is cut.
In option C, motor is connecting through plugging switch and heating contactor directly through temperature switch , which is not correct.
In option D, flow switch is used instead of temperature switch.
Hence all these are incorrect.
