Question
Using the following spectrum of the starting material 2-aminobenzoic acid, Identify C=C stretch, NH2 stretch, sp3 C-H stretch, OH (acid) stretch, and the C=O stretch.
Based off of the above IR spectrum, what significant transformations are you looking for when analyzing your product. I.E. what important peaks should disappear, shift, appear that conclusively identify your product went to completion. Please use wavenumbers when discussing. (product is 2-Iodobenzoic acid)

Peaks at 3612 & 3387 are due to NH2 stretches
Peaks at 3057,is due to aromatic =CH stretch and at 2568&2642 are due to OH stretch of COOH.
Peak at 1671 is due to carbonyl group of carboxylic acid and at 1617 is for C=C stretch..
During the formation of iodobenzoic acid, NH2 is replaced by Iodine.
Hence peaks at more than 3200 will disappear and a new peak will form at around 810 for C-Br.
