In my personal view I don't consider to disturb this area as it's an house of different species which leave in this area. Well allowing drilling in this area this'll disturb the marine organism , their are numerous organism which lives in the bottom of the ocean floor, drilling operations itself disturb the ocean floor by creating turbidity in the localized phenomena which also kills many numerous species in that area it's not associated with any type of disaster but it related with the drilling activity itself. If their is any accident it's effects are well know to us and this will not only disturb the marine organism it's will be going to have an very wide and diversified impact on the human being, it'll be going to kill numerous species along with it'll be going to have an wide economic impact it'll eat up tourism industry, fishery so on. Our sea food comes from the sea and if marine life is going to be get disturb it'll definitely going to impact our food supply which comes from the sea.
On April 20, 2010, Transocean's Deepwater Horizon oil rig exploded, killing 11 people and disturbing the marine organism and have disturbed the environment in an very bad way. I don't find any advantage in this type of exploration work rather than their are numerous disadvantage well we don't have any such well developed technology to go for this type of work. Well we need to sift to some other green and alternative form of energy that can support our future demand for energy by harnessing solar, wind and tide energy and we need to develop new technology in this field.
