HISTORY:-

The patient is having a late symptoms of Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever(RMSF).Because Rashes will appear in the late stage..As he went and came from camping trip for 1week he got this ticks in his body..when the people in outdoor and spend more time in warm weather especially in grassy and wooden areas this ticks can spread very easily....
? OVER VIEW OF THIS DISEASE:-
?    It is a bacterial infection transmitted by a rick(Rickettsia rickettsii).This tick carrying most common source of infection..This ticks attaches to your body skin and feeds on your blood for six to 10 hours and it spreads infection.But this are invisible to your skin..It can not be spread to one person to another person..Sometimes through dogs also this bacteria can spread..
SYMPTOMS:-
?    Early symptoms it starts with severe headache and fever.. A few days later a rash usually appear on the wrists and ankles..Many people will feel sick during the first week..First 14 days symptoms will not appear out side..After 14 days symptoms will be appear..Symptoms include:-
      --High fever
      --Chills
?    --Severe haedache
? --Muscle aches
? --Nausea and vomiting
? --In later stage some neurological changes may appear
? --Rashes on palms of your hands and soles of your feet..
?DIAGNOSIS:-
? RMSF can be difficult to diagnose..Because the signs and symptoms of this early stage almost similar to other diseases..Laboratory blood samples and rash specimen or the tick itself for evidence of the organism that causes the infection..
TREATMENT:-
?    It must be treated with antibiotic therapy within 5 days of developing symptoms before receiving conclusive test results..Doxycycline is the most effictive treatment for Rocky Mountain Spotted fever..
?PREVENTION:-
? --When you are in woody and grassy areas wear long pant and sleeves..
? --Use insect Repellents when you are in outdoor.
   --Clean the bite area with antiseptic solutions.
? --Wash hands thoroughly
? --Check yourself and your pet when you came from outdoor..because it will be no bigger than head of the pins..so find out carefully and gently grasp the ticks and flush it in toilet..
