Based on what you have learned about EHRs do you think they are a postitive or negative for the medical profession? Why?

For eample:

"I do think EHR's are beneficial because they do happen to save time rather than writing on paper. ECR also is of guidance for the physcians because they have control of changing and rather than walking to the other end of the hospital it is online directly. Though technology will have its failures, EHR are just a plus but no one should rely on then solely."

In olden days the medical professions used to write in one book that is called as documentation. Butin advanced technology people are more interested to maintaining the electronic health records. As nurse we can think it is positive for the medical profession because we can store the full patient past and present medical or surgical history of the patient. Treatment regimen also we can store in the EHR. Through the EHR we can communicate with the doctor about patient condition in the internet and we can take suggestions to improve the patient condition. We can store the information for long period if we save the information.
