You know that the room in which Shenya was seen previously still needs to be disinfected and restocked, so you ask Michelle, another medical assistant in the office, to clean the room for you. You explain that Dr. Williams has asked you to assist with a mole removal. Michelle tells you that she does not want to clean the room because Shenya has MRSA and she doesn’t want to get it. She also states that since the room is your responsibility she doesn’t think that she should have to clean the room. How should you respond to Michelle?

I will respond to Michelle that MRSA ( methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus) is prevented by using following precautions-
    -wear gloves while touching equipment and objects in the room while cleaning the room.
    -put gown upon entry into the room and remove gown and observe hand hygiene before leaving the room.
    -Disinfect room with appropriate disinfection.
    - Remove gown and gloves before leaving yhe room.
