In addition to solving problems within Mastering Physics, it is important to learn to describe problem solutions in a manner that others can understand. In this activity, you will submit your solution to the first of two problems for this module.
• Write up a solution to your assigned problem in detail. The solution must follow the format of the six-step Structured Problem Solving Method [PDF file size 38.4 KB]. This method provides structure, and will help you clearly reflect your understanding of the problem and your solution.
• Problem Submission 1 is due by the end of Week 1.
• You may wish to collaborate in the Questions and Answers discussion board with classmates assigned the same problem as yourself.
