Answers for Q 1,1, and 3

There are three types of jaundice:

Yellow discoloration of the skin and the whites of the eyes happens in all types of jaundice.

Viral hepatitis is most commonly caused by Hepatitis A virus(HAV), Hepatitis B virus(HBV) and Hepatitis C virus (HCV). These three viruses can all result in acute disease with symptoms of jaundice, nausea, abdominal pain, fatigue and malaise.

Jaundice mainly affects the functioning of liver. Jaundice affects liver by obstructing removal of dead RBCs properly. Patients with jaundice have the blood cells containing a chemical called bilirubin. This Bilirubin in RBCs causes the yellow coloring of the skin and eyes.
