Explanation / Answer
Answer is 4
Glycosylated Heamoglobin also known as HbA1C is a test to check the average level of glucose in the blood for past 2 to 3 months.
When sugar in blood called glucose buils up it binds to the heamoglobin in RBC s. The average life of red blood cells is 3 months hence the test shows levels of glucose for an average of 3 months. And not in a day or hours. Hence this test is more reliable to study blood sugar control in patients.
