I found this and need it reworded to sound better! The "question" is "Describe the source of food for the first three levels in the food chain and explain why it takes less land, water, and air to produce a gram of plant tissue to eat than it does to produce a gram of animal tissue to eat." I'm not sure if this answer is even correct, please help!
The first three levels of the food pyramid are considered to be primary consumers, which eats the producers (plants), the secondary consumers, which eats the primary consumers, and the tertiary consumers, which eats the secondary consumers. The reason why it takes less land, air, and water to produce a gram of plant tissue to eat than animal tissue is because plants are considered to be producers. They sit at the bottom of the food pyramid, and their structure is not as complex as an animal to where an animal needs land, air, and water, as well, but plants require less of these in order to produce.

And another thing is that at each stage of food chain there is loss of energy i.e. only 10 % energy is pass in next stage so that to produce 1 gram of animal tissue required more land, air and water and animals are sit on top of the food pyramid so that they cover maximum area for their food requirement.
