Wondering what the subject means? Well, it is our company considering its employees its biggest asset and taking steps to make sure that the asset gets the care it deserves! The Company is coming up with huge and contemporary fitness center with all sorts amentities like locker facilities and showers and equipments and activities like on-site aerobics, yoga classes, stationary bikes, treadmills and weight machines. Isn't it exciting that employees shall have their own space for working out within the company premise itself? Also exciting is the fact that the center shall be open right from 6 AM to 10 PM daily with at least one qualified instructor present there at all times so that the employees get the freedom to choose the time that suits them the most and make working out an integral part of their day. These centers shall not only be available for employers but if there is extra room, clients, spouses of employees and children below 14 years of age shall be more than welcome to join this fun fitness regime! Proper handling of stress in today's competitive world is extremely important for one's personal and professional growth. Now that these services will be so easily accessible to employees, it is going to go a long way in motivating them to stay healthy and fight obesity, illness and diseases because fitness ensures a better immunity system.
It is actually a win win situation for employer and employees both as one says 'health is wealth'. For employers, better health of employees would mean lower absenteeism, greater productivity and lower insurance claims as we know in our company it is the employer who pays for medical insurance, lower claims are more than desired. Other companies are seen to have saved somewhere between $ 2.3 and $ 10.10 for every $ 1 spent on such wellness programs. So definitely when this center is busy helping out of shape employees and giving them an opportunity of setting a lifestyle that gives proper emphasis to fitness, it gives employer a cost benefit too. Fitness is fun and so is cost reduction for any business! Teaching employees to handle stress in a better manner will invite only wellness - mentally and financially.
Hope this attempt to make lives better achieves what it aims to and everyone is benefitted it!
Thanking You.
Yours faithfully,
