Mean (X) 40 Standard Deviation (SD) 5 Devaition in each side of the normal curve=5/2 2.5 a> Probability of project getting finished in 40days =0.5 Probability of getting finished in 42days=0.5 +[(42-40)/2.5)]*0.5 0.9 b>Since the SD=5 , the maximum time that the project can take is 42.5 (40+2.5) weeks. So the probability that the project will take more than 45days is zero.
