a). What is the probability the project will be finished in 42 weeks or less?

b). What is the probability the project will take longer than 45 weeks?

Mean (X) 40 Standard Deviation (SD) 5 Devaition in each side of the normal curve=5/2 2.5 a> Probability of project getting finished in 40days =0.5 Probability of getting finished in 42days=0.5 +[(42-40)/2.5)]*0.5 0.9 b>Since the SD=5 , the maximum time that the project can take is 42.5 (40+2.5) weeks. So the probability that the project will take more than 45days is zero.
