There is a big question in business today concerning the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) to work movement. Some companies are embracing this concept, while others are not so sure it is a good idea. Imagine you are the manager charged with deciding whether or not to allow, or even start, a BYOD program. What factors would you consider before making up your mind? Would the type of business affect whether or not you would be willing to start the program? Discuss these questions within your discussion group. Bring your own device is not a good concept becuase it costs a lot to the employees to get his own device for working and devices differs from job to job in that case the employee can not buy his own device for each and every job .Employee is working for the benefit of the concern and he shoul be provided with all the devices and working environment to work on it. Employee will not get any extra amount as benefit on using his own device so there is no question of asking the employee to get his own device and the other thing is that the job of the employee may not be fixed .
