Explanation / Answer
I will not write your paper for you. That's not how Cramster works. But, I will give you some ideas:
1.Why is product placement becoming a critical element for advertisers and marketers? It's a discreet form of advertisement that makes it more difficult for the customer to understand that he's being advertised to. Consumers from the 1980s onward have become accustomed to and irritated by advertisements - blatant billboards, canned commercials, and the like. Nevertheless, imitation is a part of human nature. By playing to human's natural desire to immitate without letting consumers "on" to the fact that they're being manipulated, advertisers have a better chance at hitting their target market.
2.Conduct research to determine if the cost of product placement in TV and Movies is paying off in the long run. (at least 2 references required to support your research) Yes, it is - though advertisement costs are increasing, products like alcoholic drinks, computers, and cell phones are booming alongside theirbooming product placement. In the long run, these have been the most successful products.
3.Determine if one of your recent favorite movies or TV shows has impacted you and/ or your family as a consumer(s). It's easiest to say yes -and it probably has! Examples:
- A TV show host's dress inspires you to buy a similar dress
- You see a "cool product" on NBC news and decide to try it out
- You see an iPad used in a cool, innovative way on the news and decide to get one
